The Benue State Public Procurement Commission (BSPPC) was established with a clear mission — to regulate, monitor, and promote transparency and fairness in all public procurement activities within the State. Our goal is to ensure that public funds are used judiciously, delivering the highest possible value and impact for our people.
Through reforms, training, and the deployment of modern digital systems, the Commission continues to strengthen procurement practices across Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Local Governments. We are fostering a culture where integrity, efficiency, and professionalism guide every stage of the procurement process — from planning to execution.
We are also committed to maintaining an open relationship with all stakeholders — contractors, suppliers, civil society, and the general public. By working together, we can enhance transparency, restore public confidence, and make procurement a powerful tool for sustainable development in Benue State.
Our platform provides clear and open access to procurement opportunities, contract awards, and project details. Every transaction is visible and traceable reducing corruption, promoting accountability, and building public trust in how government funds are managed.
We ensure that all qualified contractors and suppliers have equal opportunities to compete for government contracts. The system eliminates bias and favoritism by using standardized evaluation criteria and automated processes that guarantee fair treatment for all participants.
Stay informed at every stage. From tender publication to bid evaluation and contract award, the platform delivers instant notifications and real-time status updates. This allows all stakeholders to follow the process as it happens promoting openness and timely decision-making.
The Commission is responsible for:
Setting procurement standards and policies for all government entities in the state.
Monitoring and evaluating procurement practices to ensure compliance with the Benue State Public Procurement Law.
Reviewing and approving procurement plans, advertisements, and contract awards.
Providing capacity-building and training for procurement officers across MDAs.

The BSPPC promotes transparency by ensuring open competitive bidding, publishing procurement opportunities and contract awards, and maintaining a register of qualified contractors and suppliers. It also enforces disclosure and reporting mechanisms to prevent corruption and favoritism.
Interested contractors and suppliers can apply for registration through the Commission’s official registration portal or by visiting its office. Applicants must provide necessary documentation such as company registration certificates, tax clearance, and evidence of relevant experience before being pre-qualified to bid for public contracts.
Any individual or organization can report procurement-related complaints, irregularities, or suspected misconduct to the Commission through its official email, hotline, or in person at its office.
